When motherhood swallowed your first name. It is easy to sound spiritual until this is the thing sitting in front of you. Sometimes the breakthrough is not a dramatic change in circumstances. Sometimes it is catching the old pattern before you obey it again. Your worth was not built by performance, approval, age, appearance, or achievement. Jesus Christ is the One who names you. Let truth interrupt the reflex before the reflex becomes another chapter.

What are you trying to control because you are afraid to trust God with the outcome?

Jesus Christ, show me what is true in this situation and expose the story I have added to it. Give me wisdom for my part, courage to obey You, and enough trust to leave the outcome in Your hands. Amen.
